Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and cloud infrastructure
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols
- Automate deployment processes using PowerShell/Ansible and CI/CD pipelines
- Oversee backup/recovery systems and disaster preparedness protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT security best practices
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expertise in Windows Server 2016/2019 and Linux (RHEL/CentOS)
- Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, MCSE, or Linux+ preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix) and scripting (Python/Bash)
- Proven track record in infrastructure security and compliance (HIPAA/FISMA)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
