Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtual environments, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection
- Proactively troubleshoot system issues, minimizing downtime through preventative maintenance
- Deploy and configure network devices (routers, switches, load balancers) for optimal performance
- Automate routine tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Python) to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects and system migrations
- Document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with Windows Server and Linux environments
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or Linux+) preferred
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
