Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments including Active Directory, VMWare, and cloud infrastructure
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot network issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime SLA compliance
- Execute disaster recovery protocols, data backup strategies, and cybersecurity measures
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible/Terraform and optimize system configurations
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Document IT processes, SOPs, and runbooks while maintaining compliance with industry standards
- Lead system upgrade projects and vendor management for hardware/software procurement
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server 2019+ and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware ESXi), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and networking fundamentals
- Strong scripting skills (Python/PowerShell/Bash) and automation tools
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSE, or RHCSA) and CISSP/CISM preferred
- Proven experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix) and ITIL framework
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under urgent deadlines
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with development and security teams
