Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and virtualization infrastructure
- Proactively monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk
- Execute disaster recovery plans and security compliance audits (SOC2/HIPAA)
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM across hybrid cloud environments
- Lead system migration projects while maintaining zero-downtime operations
- Document technical procedures and create knowledge base articles for team
- Collaborate with DevOps team on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience with Windows Server 2019+ and Linux (RHEL/CentOS)
- Expert-level proficiency in VMware vSphere and AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation
- Active CompTIA Server+ or equivalent certification required
- Experience with enterprise backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault)
- Proven track record in managing hybrid cloud architectures
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities for complex network issues
- Strong written communication skills for technical documentation
