Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization environments (VMware), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Provide tier-3 technical support and resolve complex system issues
- Automate deployment and configuration using scripting (PowerShell, Python, Ansible)
- Oversee backup systems and disaster recovery planning
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance with ITIL standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) and automation experience
- VMware vSphere and cloud platform certifications preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds, Zabbix)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
- Strong understanding of IT security best practices
