Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019) and Active Directory infrastructure
- Implement and oversee cloud solutions including Azure and AWS hybrid architectures
- Monitor system performance using enterprise tools like SolarWinds and Nagios
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute regular backup/restore procedures
- Collaborate with security team to enforce compliance with NIST and SOC2 standards
- Document system configurations and create technical SOPs
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex system issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering Windows Server environments and Active Directory
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Experience with network infrastructure (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or Azure Administrator preferred)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues under pressure
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
