Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure (Linux and Windows Server).
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex network solutions and virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Automate routine IT tasks and deployment pipelines using scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Ensure data integrity, security compliance, and disaster recovery protocols are strictly followed.
- Conduct system performance monitoring, capacity planning, and root-cause analysis for incidents.
- Lead IT projects and provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior administrators.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in System Administration or DevOps Engineering.
- Deep expertise in Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and firewall configuration.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified SysOps, or VCP are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
