Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network services for 500+ users
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Zabbix, resolving incidents proactively
- Automate deployment and configuration management with Ansible and PowerShell
- Ensure security compliance through regular vulnerability assessments and patch management
- Provide Level 3 technical support and mentor junior team members
- Document IT processes and maintain up-to-date system documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience accepted)
- Expert knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or Linux+ preferred
- Proven scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation
- Experience with enterprise backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
