Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize complex hybrid cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and on-premises systems
- Implement robust security protocols and compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system patching/upgrades
- Monitor performance metrics using tools like Nagios and Splunk
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document SOPs and create automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Provide Tier-3 support and mentor junior administrators
Qualifications
- 5+ years administering Linux/Windows Server environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware ESXi/KVM) and container orchestration
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, CCNA, or AWS Certified SysOps
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with enterprise networking (Cisco/Juniper)
- Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, and DNS
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
