Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Implement security protocols, patch management, and disaster recovery procedures
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk to ensure optimal uptime
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Provide Tier-3 support for network and system issues with SLA-driven resolution
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain configuration management databases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto/Checkpoint)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation tasks
- AWS/Azure certification (e.g., AWS SysOps Administrator or Azure Administrator)
- Experience with backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault) and recovery testing
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with proven incident management experience
