Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows Server environments with 99.99% uptime
- Manage AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, S3, and RDS services
- Oversee network security protocols (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible and Terraform
- Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization
- Lead disaster recovery planning and implementation
- Document IT infrastructure and create SOPs
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with Linux/Windows Server
- Expert knowledge of AWS and hybrid cloud architectures
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
