Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize operational efficiency
- Manage network security protocols, firewalls, and access controls to ensure data integrity
- Automate deployment and configuration processes using Ansible, Terraform, or PowerShell
- Document system configurations, create disaster recovery plans, and conduct regular audits
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Provide tier-3 support and mentor junior administrators
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Windows Server and Linux administration
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios) and infrastructure automation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
