Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level server infrastructure (Linux/Windows) across hybrid cloud environments
- Proactively monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk to prevent downtime
- Execute disaster recovery protocols and security audits to ensure HIPAA/GDPR compliance
- Automate workflows using Python/PowerShell and orchestrate containerized deployments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for scalability
- Document system architecture and create runbooks for operational excellence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, and network protocols (TCP/IP, VPN)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or Microsoft Azure Administrator
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and configuration management (Ansible)
- Strong background in virtualization (VMware/KVM) and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Datadog) and ticketing systems (Jira)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure with excellent communication skills
