Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux environments
- Implement and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and hybrid systems
- Oversee network security protocols, firewalls, and access controls
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery testing, and capacity planning
- Troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues and document resolutions
- Automate deployment processes using PowerShell and Ansible
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2 and PCI-DSS standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP management
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSE, or Linux+) required
- Proficient with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation
