Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure (Windows Server, Linux/Unix).
- Monitor system performance, security logs, and network traffic to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Implement and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Configure and troubleshoot Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN services.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes using scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
- Conduct regular security audits and patch management to protect organizational data.
- Provide expert-level technical support and mentorship to junior system administrators.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy) and Linux administration.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) for automation tasks.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
