Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust network infrastructure including servers, storage, and cloud solutions
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot critical issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime
- Implement and manage cybersecurity protocols to protect company assets
- Automate system administration tasks using scripting tools (Python/PowerShell)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects and system migrations
- Document system configurations and create operational procedures
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Perform regular system audits and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with Windows/Linux environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Azure, or AWS preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix) and automation frameworks
- Proven ability to document complex technical systems and processes
