Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Windows Server and Linux environments
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise-level firewalls
- Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) including VM orchestration
- Implement robust backup/disaster recovery solutions
- Monitor system performance using Nagios/Zabbix
- Lead security compliance initiatives (NIST/FISMA)
- Document SOPs and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- AWS/Azure certification (SAA/AZ-104 or higher)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash/Python)
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification
- Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes containerization
- Experience with enterprise backup solutions (Veeam/Commvault)
