Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows Server environments across AWS and on-premise data centers
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor system health with Nagios, ELK Stack, and cloud-native monitoring tools
- Execute security hardening, vulnerability assessments, and compliance audits
- Lead disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize cloud resource utilization
- Document SOPs and create technical training materials for IT staff
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience administering enterprise Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM) and hybrid cloud architectures
- Proficiency in scripting (Python/Bash) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- Strong understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Load Balancers)
- Security certifications (CISSP, Security+) or equivalent experience
- Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
