Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Go/Python on AWS/GCP
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead migration from monolithic to serverless architecture
- Contribute to open-source projects used by 500K+ developers
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of production experience with distributed systems
- Expertise in at least two: Go, Python, or Rust
- Proven track record with Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tools
- Bachelor's in CS or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ complex system designs
- Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus/Grafana)
- Strong knowledge of security best practices (OWASP, NIST)
