We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our weekend operations team. Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for enterprise clients, with a focus on reliability during off-peak hours.
- Weekend Operations: Proactively monitor, patch, and optimize critical systems to ensure zero downtime over the weekend.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; conduct rigorous code reviews to enforce high standards.
- Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers and QA engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Performance Tuning: Identify bottlenecks in the application stack and implement solutions to improve speed and scalability.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the engineering squad.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go; strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
- Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Databases: Strong understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis).
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work weekends and participate in on-call rotation.
