Responsibilities
- Execute Deployments: Lead the weekend release cycle, deploying code changes, patches, and updates to production environments.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, security hardening, and performance tuning on critical systems.
- Troubleshooting: Rapidly diagnose and resolve technical issues that arise during off-hours to ensure zero downtime.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to our high engineering standards.
- Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers and QA teams to define sprint goals and acceptance criteria.
- Monitoring: Analyze system metrics and logs to proactively identify potential bottlenecks or security threats.
- Innovation: Research and implement new technologies to improve our development workflows and product features.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering or a related technical field.
- Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js, with experience in React or Angular.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Remote Work: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment with high self-discipline.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
