Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead weekend deployments and system monitoring rotations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams via async communication tools
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for weekend release windows
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Document architecture decisions and troubleshooting guides
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development (Go/Python preferred)
- Expertise in AWS/GCP infrastructure and Terraform
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Experience with weekend shift schedules or on-call rotations
- Proficiency in async collaboration tools (Slack, Notion, Jira)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
