Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Lead weekend development sprints for critical platform enhancements
- Optimize database performance and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical documentation
- Implement security best practices and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Java and cloud-native development
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Strong background in microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
- Proficient in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and weekend shift scheduling
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification
