Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using Java, Python, and cloud technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features on weekend sprint cycles
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices for continuous deployment
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers during weekend sessions
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and optimize application performance
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to product roadmap planning
- Document technical specifications and maintain clean, testable code
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in software development with weekend shift exposure
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript with modern frameworks (React, Spring)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Agile/Scrum methodology familiarity
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
