Responsibilities
- Code Maintenance & Development: Write, test, and debug clean, efficient code for web and mobile applications while adhering to our coding standards.
- System Monitoring: Monitor server performance and application health during peak weekend traffic to ensure zero downtime.
- Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues reported by internal teams or external clients.
- Database Management: Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity across our distributed systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Product and QA teams to refine features and deploy updates seamlessly.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed features and fixes.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, Java, or C#.
- Frameworks: Solid understanding of React, Angular, or Node.js.
- Databases: Strong skills in SQL and experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Must be available to work a consistent weekend shift schedule.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
