Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure software systems in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure adherence to best practices and high standards.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues in production environments.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy for the Charlotte office.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in a professional setting.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of database systems (SQL/NoSQL) and API design (REST/GraphQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
