Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP)
- Lead technical initiatives for high-traffic systems handling 10M+ daily transactions
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architecture planning sessions
- Optimize system performance using profiling tools and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Implement CI/CD pipelines ensuring zero-downtime deployments
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with strong proficiency in Python/Java/Go
- Expertise in distributed systems, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and API design principles
- Proven track record of architecting cloud solutions on AWS or GCP
