Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure cloud-native solutions using AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda)
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers in CI/CD best practices
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize system performance while maintaining 99.99% uptime for federal systems
- Implement robust security protocols compliant with FedRAMP standards
- Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventive measures
- Contribute to architectural decisions for multi-tenant SaaS platforms
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python or Java
- Expertise in microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI)
- Familiarity with federal security standards (NIST, FedRAMP)
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in high-concurrency systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
