Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers while maintaining clean, maintainable code
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and optimize system performance for scalability
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
- Participate in agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years professional development)
- Expertise in at least two modern programming languages (Python, Java, Go, or Rust)
- Strong foundation in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven experience with distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to optimize complex algorithms
- Strong communication skills with experience in remote team environments
