Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architectures using AWS/GCP and containerization technologies
- Lead API development and optimization for high-traffic financial transaction systems
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural discussions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for continuous deployment
- Conduct performance testing and security audits for compliance requirements
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and emerging fintech standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python/Java/Go
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and serverless technologies
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and database optimization
- Proven experience with Agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience mentoring development teams and technical leadership
- Understanding of financial industry compliance (SOX, PCI-DSS)
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design contributions
