Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, QA) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning sessions.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues to ensure system stability and performance.
- Conduct research and evaluate emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.
- Contribute to the optimization of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Strong proficiency in at least two major programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, or C#).
- Experience with modern web development frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, or Node.js).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of software architecture patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a distributed team.
- Willingness to relocate to Milwaukee, WI, or work from Illinois.
