Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity incidents in real-time across our network infrastructure.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential entry points.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Manage access controls and privilege accounts to ensure the principle of least privilege is enforced.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and conduct regular security drills.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GIAC GSEC are highly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in information security or network defense.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and virtualization.
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or similar) and log analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
