Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using modern programming languages (Python, Java, or Go).
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional product managers and UX designers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Participate in rigorous code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and adherence to architectural standards.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues and optimize application performance in production environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance within the agile development team.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and drive technical decision-making processes.
- Automate testing and deployment pipelines to improve CI/CD efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and backend technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to commute to our Washington DC office for hybrid meetings (2-3 days/week).
