Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Statistical Analysis: Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support strategic decision-making.
- Reporting: Create detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, translating technical findings into business-friendly insights.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and product management, to understand data needs.
- SQL Optimization: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to retrieve data efficiently from relational databases.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and at least one BI tool (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful conclusions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to data verification and error detection.
