Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA) to define feature requirements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical code reviews to ensure code quality.
- Optimize application performance and scalability to handle high traffic loads.
- Participate in architectural planning and database design decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Strong proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Must be willing to relocate to Sacramento, CA.
