Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and microservices architecture.
- Monitor system health, performance, and security during off-peak hours to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Debug complex production issues and implement robust patches and updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product) to define feature requirements and technical specifications.
- Optimize database performance and data integrity for high-volume transactions.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to maintain high code quality standards.
- Document technical architecture and processes to facilitate knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience in a production environment.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud services.
- Must be available and willing to work the Night Shift (10 PM - 6 AM EST).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with US-based teams.
