Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot in AWS cloud environment
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for 24/7 deployment reliability
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Design RESTful APIs with OpenAPI specifications and Swagger documentation
- Troubleshoot production issues using distributed tracing (Datadog/New Relic)
- Implement security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, OWASP compliance)
- Collaborate with product teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of production Java development experience
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Proven track record in building high-availability systems (>99.95% uptime)
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Night shift availability and strong problem-solving skills
