Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java, Python, and Go
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP with Kubernetes and Terraform
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins and GitLab
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and design reviews
- Resolve production issues with 15-minute SLA response time
- Contribute to open-source projects with quarterly releases
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in distributed systems development
- Expertise in at least two cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Strong grasp of container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM CT)
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system architectures
