Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Lead system optimization and performance tuning for 24/7 production environments
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions
- Collaborate with global teams during handover periods to ensure seamless operations
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions for complex system issues
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and runbooks for critical systems
- Automate monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue resolution
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python/Java/Go
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and database technologies
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
- Excellent problem-solving skills and on-call rotation experience
- Strong written communication skills for cross-team collaboration
