Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Analysis: Extract, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for business improvement.
- Dashboard Creation: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for executive leadership.
- SQL Development: Write complex SQL queries to retrieve data from various databases and ensure data accuracy across reporting systems.
- Statistical Modeling: Apply statistical methods and predictive modeling techniques to forecast market trends and customer behavior.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work directly with product managers and engineers to define data requirements and translate business goals into analytical frameworks.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current reporting processes and implement automated solutions to increase productivity.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with Python or R.
- Visualization Tools: Strong hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Excel: Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business value.
