Responsibilities
- Design and implement low-latency trading systems for equity derivatives
- Develop options pricing models and risk management algorithms
- Optimize C++/Python code for high-frequency trading operations
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to implement trading strategies
- Ensure regulatory compliance (SEC/FINRA) in trading software
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in C++/Python for financial systems
- Expertise in equity options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial)
- Experience with FIX protocol and market data feeds
- Strong background in multithreading and low-latency systems
- Familiarity with Linux, Docker, and cloud infrastructure
- SEC/FINRA regulatory compliance knowledge preferred
- Master's degree or CFA a plus
