Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software systems for equity trading platforms and financial tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize algorithms for speed and scalability in a high-load, low-latency environment.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure engineering excellence.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of financial markets and equity options is a significant plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a remote-first culture.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical field.
