Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Go/Python on AWS/Azure
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization with Kubernetes and Terraform
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and design reviews
- Drive API security initiatives using OAuth2 and JWT best practices
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Optimize database performance at scale using PostgreSQL and Redis
- Champion test-driven development with 95%+ code coverage
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend software development
- Expertise in distributed systems and cloud architecture
- Proficiency with Go, Python, or Java
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven patterns
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design projects
