Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Docker, and Terraform
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead code reviews and architectural discussions for 5+ engineers
- Debug production issues using distributed tracing tools
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for APIs and system architecture
- Mentor junior engineers on best practices and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go or Python
- Expertise in cloud-native architecture (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and database design
- Proven track record of deploying containerized applications at scale
- Experience with event-driven architecture and message queues
- Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
