Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable software applications and APIs using modern programming languages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, and engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, implementing efficient database queries and caching strategies.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in a production environment.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in a commercial environment.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a relevant security clearance (if applicable to role).
