The Role:
In this key leadership position, you will design and implement robust backend services and scalable frontend applications. You will mentor a team of talented engineers, drive architectural decisions, and ensure our codebase is maintainable, secure, and performant.
Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Lead the end-to-end design and development of scalable microservices and web applications using modern technologies.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code; conduct thorough code reviews to enforce best practices and standards.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Technical Strategy: Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to improve application speed and reliability.
- Security: Implement and maintain security best practices to protect user data and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on backend or full-stack development.
- Technologies: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Python, or Go. Experience with React or Vue.js is highly desirable.
- Cloud: Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Databases: Solid understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
- DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
- Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for building high-quality software.
