Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture for real-time data processing pipelines
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS for 99.99% uptime and cost efficiency
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using GitLab and Terraform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver HIPAA-compliant features
- Contribute to open-source projects and patent innovation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in production-grade backend development
- Expert proficiency in Python and Go with async frameworks
- Strong knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Proven experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS)
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and message queues (Kafka, SQS)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira workflows
