Responsibilities
- Lead development of distributed systems using Java/Go and AWS/GCP
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical design sessions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Optimize application performance and scalability for high-traffic platforms
- Collaborate with Product and UX teams to define technical requirements
- Drive innovation through adoption of emerging DevOps practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java or Go
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven design
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and TDD principles
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical initiatives
