Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while conducting rigorous code reviews for the team.
- Mentorship: Guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical growth.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in existing systems and architect efficient refactoring strategies to improve performance.
- Innovation: Research and evaluate emerging technologies to keep our stack modern and competitive.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Core Languages: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with at least one major backend language (Python, Java, or Go).
- Frameworks: Strong experience with React.js or Vue.js for front-end development.
- Database: Deep understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
- Cloud: Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS or Azure.
