Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure microservices architecture using AWS and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices for CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers through technical workshops and pair programming
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize system performance and implement robust monitoring solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and OWASP standards
- Proven track record of leading complex projects from conception to deployment
- Experience with agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Relevant certifications (AWS/GCP Security, CISSP) preferred
